Zemas Peach Pie Waffles Recipe
Upgrade your weekend waffles with Zemas Peach Pie Waffle recipe. Easy to whip up, your family will love the sweet peach topping and you will love the ancient grains and superseeds in every bite.
  1. Zemas Gluten-Free Multigrain Pancake & Waffle mix
  2. 1 1/3 c. milk of choice (dairy, coconut, almond)
  3. 1 egg (or egg replacer)
  4. 3 T. oil of choice (grapeseed, non-gmo canola, coconut)
  5. ¼ c. pure maple syrup
  6. 1 t. pure vanilla extract
Peach Topping
  1. 1 can peaches(packed in water, or frozen)
  2. 2 T. butter (dairy-free or regular)
  3. ¼ c. sugar of choice
Whipped Coconut Cream
  1. 1 can full fat coconut milk-must be refrigerated overnight
  2. 3-4 T. pure maple syrup
  1. Waffle Directions;
  2. Heat your waffle maker.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
  4. Add in Zemas mix and whisk until combined.
  5. Spray the waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray then pour waffle batter onto griddle according to the type of waffle maker you own.
  6. Place cooked waffles on a cookie sheet.
Peach Topping Directions
  1. Drain and wash the peaches.
  2. In a sauté pan melt the butter.
  3. Add in the peaches and sauté for a couple minutes.
  4. Add the sugar and cook for another 3-4 minutes until caramelized.
Whipped Coconut Cream
  1. For the whipped coconut cream, scoop out the solid coconut (no liquid) into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment.
  2. Add in the maple syrup and whisk until fluffy.
  3. Top waffles with peach topping and whipped coconut cream, enjoy!
  1. Zemas favorite egg replacer is mixing ¼ c. water with 1 T. of chia seeds. Stir and allow to gel (approx 5 minutes)
