Marble Brownie Bites Recipe


Zemas Gluten-Free Marble Brownie Bites
Yields 24
A delicious Marble Brownie Bite packed with superseeds they are a sweet after school treat or holiday dessert you can feel good about.
  1. Zemas Gluten-Free Black Bean Brownie mix
  2. 1/2 c. canned black beans, drained and rinsed
  3. 10 ounces water
  4. 3 t. pure vanilla extract
  5. 1/4 c. chocolate chips (optional)
  6. Cream Cheese Filling (below)
Cream Cheese Filling
  1. 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened (regular or dairy-free)
  2. 1/3 c. sugar of choice
  3. 1 egg (egg replacer)
  4. ½ t. pure vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Filling
  1. In a stand up mixer, or hand-held mixer, combine all the ingredients and blend on medium speed until smooth.
Marbled Brownie Bites
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a mini-muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a blender, puree black beans, water and vanilla.
  3. In a mixing bowl combine Zemas mix with the liquid ingredients. Add in chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Fill mini-muffin cups 1/2 full then dollop a teaspoon of cream cheese filling into the muffin cups.
  5. Add another teaspoon of brownie batter on top of the cream cheese filling; swirl around with a toothpick.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool on wire rack for 10 minutes, and enjoy!
  1. Zemas favorite egg replacer is mixing ¼ c. water with 1 T. of chia seeds. Stir and allow to gel (approx. 5 minutes).
